Rent Agreement

STUDIO RENTAL LIABILITY WAIVER AND RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Studio Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Jorge Hernandez, the owner of Duval Dance Studio, and the individual or entity named below (“Renter”). By signing this Agreement, Renter agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Liability Waiver

Renter hereby acknowledges that by renting the studio space, they are assuming all risks associated with their activities while using the studio facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, any risks of property damage, personal injury, or other loss. Renter agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Studio Owner, their employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to Renter’s use of the studio.

2. Responsibility for Property

Renter is responsible for any and all damage to the studio space, equipment, or property during the rental period, whether caused by Renter or by persons associated with Renter’s activities. Renter agrees to cover the cost of any repairs or replacements that may be necessary due to such damage.

The following decorations/activities are not permitted in the studio:

• confetti
• bubbles
• kiddie pools
• skates

We provide:

• 6 six-foot tables
• 1 eight-foot table
• 1 five-foot table
• 50 chairs
• Use of JBL PartyBox 310 speaker
• Customized lighting
• Large trashcan and bags
• Outdoor city trash bins
• Cleaning supplies
• Drinking water dispenser

Your responsibilities:

• You set up your tables and chairs and return them to the spot where they are stored
• bring your own table cloths
• clean all spills
• throw your trash out in bins outside

3. Assumption of Risk

Renter acknowledges that they are aware of the inherent risks involved in using the studio, including but not limited to, the use of equipment, props, and other materials. Renter agrees to take full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of any participants involved in their activities.

4. Rental terms

Payment for studio rental shall be paid prior to start of the renter’s scheduled event unless otherwise agreed upon by renter and studio owner.

5. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by the Studio Owner at any time if the Renter fails adhere to any terms or conditions of this Agreement.
